BeautySuite vs Salonized: running the salon versus answering the phone

Salonized is management software with bookings, SMS notifications and payments. BeautySuite answers by voice using your treatment menu. Pros and cons, with what their website says.

A woman types on a laptop by a window, with a treatment bed with stacked towels beside her and papers on the table.

Salonized is a tool designed to run a salon from the inside: the diary, the clients, the payments. BeautySuite takes care of what happens on the outside, before there is an appointment: the call or message from someone who is still asking. That is why the most honest comparison begins by saying that they do not compete head on. What follows comes from Salonized's pricing page, read on 21 October 2026, and from what BeautySuite does today. Salonized shows its website in several languages, and its English page is the one we were able to read in full.

What each one is

Salonized is management software with an online calendar, appointment scheduling, notifications to clients, payments and its own payment terminal, Salonized Pay. Its page presents a Pro plan and adds a connection to the Treatwell marketplace as an add-on. BeautySuite has no diary: it is a voice and chat receptionist with AI, using your treatment menu, that gives prices and durations and sends the client to your booking link. Everything is recorded with audio, transcript and summary.

What each one costs

On Salonized, this is what its page says and what it does not say. It offers fourteen days of trial with all the features of the Pro plan, with no card, no lock-in and no setup fee. SMS credits for notifications start at €0.11 per SMS, and the Salonized Pay terminal, from €199, carries 1.0% per transaction. The amount of the monthly subscription does not appear on the page we read, so we do not write it; check it on their website, since other sources give different and outdated figures. BeautySuite, on the Entry plan for aesthetics and nails, costs €59 a month excluding VAT, paid annually with the launch offer until 31 December 2026 (€99 at the standard rate), with no commission per appointment.

Pros and cons of Salonized

  • Pro: complete salon management in a single program, with payments and its own terminal.
  • Pro: a 14-day trial with no card, no lock-in and no setup fee.
  • Pro: it offers help with importing your data from another program, according to its page.
  • Con: SMS notifications run on credits that are paid separately.
  • Con: the subscription amount is not visible on the page we read, which means opening an account or asking.
  • Con: it does not answer by voice when someone rings your centre. In what we read there is no AI receptionist.

Pros and cons of BeautySuite

  • Pro: it answers the phone and the chat while you work, from your menu and in the caller's language (an instruction to the assistant, with no measurement).
  • Pro: it imports your menu from your public Booksy or Treatwell profile, or you type it in by hand.
  • Pro: recording, transcript and summary of every conversation.
  • Con: it is not a management program: it has no diary, no client records and no payments.
  • Con: it does not book or send appointment reminders.
  • Con: the call is made from the browser, without dialling a number, and it is one more fee.

When to choose Salonized

If what you need is a complete management tool, with payments and bookings, and you want no commitment, Salonized is a reasonable candidate; the 14-day trial tells you whether it fits. BeautySuite does not do that job and does not try to.

When to add BeautySuite

When the diary already works and the problem is that the phone rings in the middle of a treatment. In that case BeautySuite adds to Salonized (or whatever tool you use) and sends the client to book on your link. The feature is explained in the article on the voice call from your website and Instagram bio, and the other options are in the market pillar.

If you are weighing the two, a useful habit is to separate the questions. The first is whether you need a management tool at all, and that is answered by how you run your diary, your client records and your payments today. The second is whether you lose enquiries because nobody can pick up the phone, and that is answered by your own week, not by a feature list. Answering them separately avoids paying for a whole suite when a gap in one place is the real issue, and avoids buying a receptionist when the real gap is a diary. Many centres need only one of the two. If you are unsure, start with the gap that costs you the most today and leave the other for later.
